Musician : Paul Taverner & Martin
Paul has been involved in music for over 30 years; he specialises on the alto saxophone, but also plays tenor and soprano saxophones as well as drums and percussion. Paul currently leads the quartet Eclipse Jazz who play modern cool jazz standards as well as arranging, revamping and even merging jazz tunes and classical pieces. He is also the Musical Director of the Bader’s Big Band; a nationwide band which is comprised of a unique and wonderful group of excellent musicians.
Martin first learnt classical piano before later turning to jazz. He
loves all good music regardless of genre and enjoys playing in various
jazz formations from duos to big band as well as supporting other
musicians at open mic nights.
